BOULDER, CO — From May 9 to 11, police in Boulder dealt with quite a bit. A caller mistook a housemate for a burglar, a man intentionally jumped through a window in order to go to jail, a man threatened a Taco Bell employee for asking him to leave and more.

Police responded to 1247 Pearl St. and arrested a woman on charges of repeated trespasses and damaging property at the business there.
Two men were arrested in Central Park after they brawled. One of the men was stabbed during the fight. One of the men had two outstanding municipal warrants, and the other was in violation of a protection order for being under the influence.

Police arrested a man for violating a protection order for being under the influence of alcohol following an incident at Broadway and Pearl Street.
May 10
Police responded to a home in the 1600 block of Ninth Street on a report of a burglary in progress. The woman who lives at the home reported she locked herself in a room and called her roommates, neither of whom were home. They found a man in the house. As it turns out, the man lived there. He forgot his keys and climbed in through a window.
Police responded to a home in the 3900 block of Promontory Court on a report of shots fired. The man who called said someone shot a bullet through his window, but there were no injuries. Police discovered it was a BB pellet.
May 11
Police responded to the area of College Avenue and Broadway on a report of somebody dancing with their pants, and underwear, pulled down. The caller didn't want to press charges, but the individual had an outstanding warrant from Longmont for trespassing and was arrested.
Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on US36 at Foothills to assist with road closures. An open-top three-wheeled vehicle veered off the road, up the embankment and flipped over, causing minor injuries to the driver.
Police responded to the Mapleton Ballfields around 7:40 p.m. on a report of menacing with a handgun. The caller was drunk and said he was menaced after asking for a cigarette.
A client of the Addiction Recovery Center decided he wanted to go to jail, but knew he needed to commit a crime to do that. He jumped through a window from the lobby into the staff area. A state trooper was on scene and detained him, and he was eventually arrested for obstruction.
A police officer was dispatched to the 700 block of 20th Street. The reporting party said there were squatters in his apartment. The officer discovered the people had a handwritten lease agreement which was deemed valid. One person was arrested on a warrant.
Police arrested a man for DUI in the 700 block of 28th Street.
Officers were dispatched to the Taco Bell at 2450 Baseline Rd. on a report of menacing. An employee said a man refused to leave the dining area, which was closed. The employee asked the man to leave, but he became confrontational and pulled out a gun, demanding to be served. He then left on foot. Soon after the first call, dispatch got a second call from the employee who said the man pointed the gun at them. When police arrived, the man was on the east side of the Base Mar parking lot. Police closed the street and took the man into custody. They discovered the gun was a "very realistic replica" handgun. They arrested the man on two counts of felony menacing, burglary and obstructing a peace officer.
Police documented a reported robbery in the area of Valmont and Wilderness Place.
