- A trail runner was rescued from Green Bear Trail on Friday morning. According to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, they received a report of an injured runner at 10:14 a.m. Rescuers acted quickly to stabilize the injury and move her to a fire access road. From there, she was transported to her vehicle where she sought her own medical treatment. (Boulder Daily Camera)
- CU Boulder's $2.1 billion budget was approved unanimously by the CU Regents on Friday. The budget is part of the $5.5 billion system-wide budget which was also approved. Funding will go to projects like renovations to the Hellems Arts and Sciences Building, which is more than 100 years old. Graduate students and incoming non-resident students' tuition will increase by 3 percent in the fall. (Longmont Times-Call)
- Six months after the Marshall Fire, a couple is sharing their rebuilding story. The house, which stood in the 5600 block of Marshall Drive, went up in flames in just eight minutes.
