Man Snuck Into Home, Sexually Assaulted Woman In Bed: Police

Police are asking the public for help finding the man.

BOULDER, CO – A woman woke early Friday to find an unknown man in her bed trying to forcibly have sex with her, police said. The woman somehow was able to get the man to leave her apartment, and then called police.

Boulder police are now asking the public for help solving the reported sexual assault. Officers say the incident took place at 4:30 a.m. Friday inside an apartment in the 1200 block of College Avenue on University Hill

Police believe the man entered through an unlocked door.

The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt with an unknown logo and khaki pants, and police are in the process of creating a composite sketch to help the search.

Anyone with additional information on the case is asked to call Detective Sergeant Jim MacPherson at 303-441-1997. Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
