Man Sought In 2 Separate Sexual Assault Incidents

Police believe a man sexually assaulted two women on Friday, May 3, and Monday, May 6, in Boulder.

BOULDER, CO — Boulder police are seeking a man accused of two separate incidents of sexual assault, according to reports. The man, a video of whom is below, is believed to have sexually assaulted a woman in a car and a woman running.

KDVR reported the incidents happened in Whitter and north Boulder in the past week.

On Friday, May 3, around 6:30 p.m., a woman in the Whittier neighborhood was gardening when the suspect came up behind her and put his genitals on her buttocks, she said, CBS reported. He then made a comment on her appearance and left, the outlet said.

Then on Monday, May 6, around 5:45 a.m., the suspect is accused of groping a woman while she was jogging in north Boulder, on Vinca Court near Spotswood Place, the KDVR report said.

He rode up behind her on his bike, slapped her buttocks, got off his bike and bear hugged her, the report said. He's accused of then stealing her cellphone before he rode off in the direction of 26th Street.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 25 years old, just over six feet tall, and around 200 pounds. He was seen with a black BMX bike with red handlebars, the KDVR report said.
