One Dead After Longmont Domestic Violence Incident

Two others were injured in an incident still under police investigation.

LONGMONT CO - One man is dead and another man and woman injured after a domestic violence incident in Longmont late Tuesday evening. Shortly before 9:30 p.m. a 54-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds and 39-year-old man with superficial injuries showed up at a Longmont hospital, according to a press release from the Longmont Police.

The pair alerted officers that another man, age 57, was still in the house in the 100 block of East Sixth Ave. Officers found him injured and entered the home. Though he was transported to the hospital by Longmont Fire and AMR, he later died of his injuries. Police investigation revealed that the woman was stabbed by the 57-year-old man of the same household. The woman’s son, who also lived there, intervened, stabbing the first man.

All parties are cooperating with the investigation, and no charges have been filed at this point.
