Pridefest Hits Boulder
All-day festival arrives Sunday with a packed event line-up.
Boulder's annual PrideFest Celebration will be taking over Central Park this Sunday. From 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., there will be vendors, a full musical line-up, a parade, and - because this is Boulder, Colorado, after all - the day kicks off with the Big Gay 5k run. Read on for the weekend's highlights - and if you are short on cash, one vendor on the event's Facebook page is promising free hugs to all attendees.
SUNDAY -
*10 a.m. - The Big Gay 5k - The morning starts with a brand-new 5k course through the streets of downtown Boulder - this year even includes a one mile option. Participants will receive an event t-shirt and the top three runners in the male, female, and non-binary categories will be given awards. Sign-up here.
