Public Agendas: Let's Talk About Money And Prairie Dogs

BOULDER, CO - Budget meetings continue this week, with public hearings in Boulder, Lafayette, and Longmont and council discussion in Louisville. Nederland, Lyons, Jamestown and Ward all have their monthly public meetings this week. Lafayette will have discussions about prairie dogs–a controversial topic of late–and Boulder will discuss new homeless sheltering options and commercial building use code changes.

Boulder -
*Monday, 5:30 p.m. - OSMP Master Plan Ecosystem Health and Resilience Community Workshop. A community conversation about goals on Boulder's Open Space and how to achieve them.

*Tuesday, 6 p.m. - City Council Meeting. Public hearing for 2019 budget. Proposed code changes to preserve ground floor commercial uses. Discussion of new day and overnight shelter on 30th Street.

Erie -

*Wednesday, 6 p.m. - Sustainability Advisory Board Meeting. Agenda not yet posted.

Jamestown -

*Monday, 7 p.m. - Town Board Meeting. Report on flood recovery from mayor Tara Schoedinger. Various committee reports, discussion of a resolution authorizing the town to enter into an agreement with the Boulder County Office of Emergency Management for the purpose of maintenance of a rain gauge

Lafayette -

*Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. - City Council Meeting. Open Space Advisory Board prairie dog discussion. 2019 budget public hearing. General improvement district meetings.

Longmont -
*Tuesday, 7 p.m. - City Council Meeting. Public Hearing on 2019 budget.

Louisville -

*Tuesday, 7 p.m. - City Council Meeting. Budget discussion, discussion of city code regarding wireless facilities, discussion of South Boulder Road Connectivity Feasibility Study and Plan, discussion of Transportation Master Plan goals.
*Thursday, 6 p.m. - City Council Meeting. Council discussion on proposed 2019 budget.

Lyons -

* Monday, 7 p.m. - Board of Trustees Meeting. Flood recovery update. Public Hearings on the term of the mayor and delinquent utility accounts. Will also include executive sessions on contract with wastewater provider Honeywell and Greens and legal discussion on east county land acquisition.

Nederland -

*Tuesday, 7 p.m. - Board of Trustees Meeting. Agenda not yet available.

Superior -

*Tuesday, 7 p.m. - Planning Commission Meeting. Discussion of wall signs on the Medical Office Building at 3 Superior Drive.

Ward -
