Randolph Center Parking Garage Closure In Boulder Extended
The Randolph Center Parking Garage is now scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 1, Boulder officials said.
BOULDER, CO—The closure of the Randolph Center Parking Garage, located downtown on Walnut Street between 11th Street and Broadway, will be extended two weeks beyond the originally planned Aug. 15 reopening date, Boulder officials said.
According to city officials, the extended closure is necessary to address planned critical infrastructure maintenance issues that require more extensive concrete reconstruction work than project engineers had estimated.
City officials said the Randolph Center Parking Garage is now scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Other public downtown parking garages available for customer access are located nearby at:
- 10th and Walnut streets, next to the St. Julien Hotel
- 14th and Walnut streets, next to the RTD Transit Center
- 1100 Spruce St.
- 1500 Pearl St.
The Randolph Center Parking Garage was built in 1977 (the city’s first parking garage), and had been closed since June 29 for some necessary maintenance to add more drains to control and direct water, replace worn deck coatings, perform structural repair and add aesthetic improvements.
