Tumpkin Goes To Court: Domestic Violence Charges For Ex-CU Coach

Preliminary hearing date is set for December.

BOULDER, CO -- Almost two years after he was initially charged, former University of Colorado assistant football coach Joe Tumpkin is finally going to stand before a judge, reports the Daily Camera. Tumpkin's charges from January 2017 include five counts of second-degree assault and three counts of third-degree assault.

The case was delayed after Tumpkin's attorneys claimed that they were improperly denied access to cell phone records belonging to Pamela Fine's, Tumpkin's ex-girlfriend and the alleged victim, according to the Camera.
