University Of Colorado Police Rescue 2 Trapped Raccoons

The raccoons were located inside a trash dumpster and couldn't get out, according to police.

BOULDER, CO—No two days are ever alike for law enforcement officers. As several officers with the University of Colorado can attest, some days are certainly more interesting than others.

Although most days are spent helping people, recently it was several raccoons that needed help.

While on foot patrol Tuesday night, several officers said they heard some scratching noises coming from a trash dumpster on the north side of Humanities.
