Toddler Killed By Car In Westminster
The mother of a 2-year-old girl was driving and hit the child in the Highview Mobile Home park, police said.

WESTMINSTER, CO — A toddler was struck and killed by a car driven by her mother in Westminster Wednesday morning police said.
The girl, age 2, was hit around 7:05 a.m., as her mother was leaving the home to take other children to school in the 8600 block of Zuni Street in the Highview Mobile Home Community. The child was declared dead at the scene.
"At this time we believe it's just a tragic accident," said a Westminster police spokeswoman.

The accident is still under investigation. Police said they do not believe drugs or alcohol are a factor.
The identity of the child will be released by the Adams County Coroner.
