Club Q Colorado Nightclub Shooting: How To Help Victims And Families
More than a half dozen verified fundraisers on GoFundMe have raised more than $750,000 to help those affected by the mass shooting.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — More than $750,000 had been raised in verified crowdfunding campaigns to help people affected by the Club Q nightclub shooting in Colorado Springs, Colorado, that left five people dead and injured more than a dozen others late Saturday night.
GoFundMe has launched a centralized hub for Club Q fundraisers. Seven have been established so far. If more are verified, they will be added to the hub, GoFundMe said.
The money — $791,140, as of noon Eastern Time Tuesday — had been raised by 18,740 people.

The largest of the fundraisers, Support for the Club Q Families and Survivors, is raising money for funeral, medical and other expenses the families of those killed or injured may have.

Victims of Club Q Colorado Springs Mass Shooting: Former Club Q employee Greg Resha started this campaign to help offset medical and funeral expenses for the victims and their families. All proceed raised will be donated to Colorado Gives.
Fundraiser for Tara (DJ T-Beatz) injured @Club Q: A frequent DJ at Club Q, T-Beatz required surgery for gunshot injuries she sustained in the shooting.
Support Slaugh family, victims of Club Q shooting: Charlene and James Slaugh are siblings who were both injured in the shooting. According to the fundraiser, Charlene was shot 13 times. Meanwhile, James and his partner, who first met at Club Q, were both shot in the incident. They were about to leave the club when shots broke out.
Club Q Victims Fund (Colorado Springs): Victims First, a network of surviving victims of mass casualty crime, is organizing this fundraiser and will donate every penny directly to the victims of the Club Q shooting. In just the last two years, Victims First has gotten nearly $9 million to the victims and families impacted by the mass shootings in Boulder, Colorado; Buffalo, New York; and Uvalde, Texas.
Colorado Springs LGBTQIA Q Club Shooting Relief: Jake Lancer, a LGBTQIA+ music artist, started this fundraiser to support his community following the Club Q shooting. All donations made to this fundraiser will go to the Colorado Healing Fund.
Classroom of Compassion for Colorado Springs, CO: The Los Angeles-based arts organization is rising money for travel and supplies to create five public altars to allow for public mourning.
The suspect in the nightclub shooting, Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, faces murder and hate crime charges. According to online court documents, Aldrich is charged with five counts of murder and five counts of committing a bias-motivated crime causing bodily injury.
He remained hospitalized Tuesday after he was tackled and beaten by bar patrons.
