Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs:
- The Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services has rescheduled its community forum for Jun. 16 due to inclement weather. The forum will allow the community to provide feedback regarding Coleman Community Park. The community forum will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the park. (Press Release Desk)
- The Colorado Springs School District 11 Board of Education has named its three superintendent finalists. The board will be holding 90-minute interviews at the Tesla Professional Development Building auditorium today beginning at 4:00 p.m. The interviews will be open to the public and everyone is invited to attend. - The Court of Appeals has overturned Christopher D. Fiers' conviction after a Colorado Springs detective's testimony is deemed hearsay. The detective claimed that Fiers unsubscribed from his Nest home security camera system before allegedly assaulting his friend. This testimony was heard from a Nest employee. A new trial has been ordered. (coloradopolitics.com)
