  1. The Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a residential neighborhood downtown after military-grade explosives were found in a trashcan. The unexpected discovery led to the bomb squad investigating the incident. It is currently unclear why the explosives were there but the department confirms they were real. (KKTV)
  2. A man will make history by pushing a peanut up Pike Peak - with his nose. The man will be using a contraption attached to his nose to perform the nutty task. If Bob Salem is successful, he will be the first person to achieve the feat. He plans to begin Saturday, Jul. 9, and finish by Jul. 17. (KRDO)
  3. Famous comedian John Mulaney will be performing at the Broadmoor World Arena. His performance will be part of his "From Scratch" tour. His Broadmoor World Arena performance will be on Oct. 23 with tickets going on sale Friday. The tickets will cost between $60.50 and $130.50. (FOX21News.com)
