Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs:

  1. Some of Garden of the Gods park roads will be closed to accommodate the park's Ten Mile Run today. The roads will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Click the link for a full list of road closures and an accompanying map. (FOX21News.com)
  2. The Crawford House - Colorado Springs' transitional housing center for homeless veterans - is closing permanently. The 90-day facility at 415 S. Weber St. has been shuttered with very little explanation by the Colorado Veterans Resource Coalition. Through its operation, the Crawford House was able to help more than 2,200 veterans while boasting a success rate of over 80 percent. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
