COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- A 9-year-old girl died after drowning in a pool at a Colorado Springs hotel late Saturday. Colorado Springs police were called to Hotel Elegante at 2886 South Circle Drive after 8 p.m. As officers arrived, hotel staff and guests were administering first-aid to the girl who was pulled out of the pool, police said. The girl was transported to Memorial Hospital where she died, police said. The incident is currently under investigation. --Photo via Shutterstock
