Girl In Possible Colorado Springs Drowning Identified

Police said 9-year-old Yevaeh Patrick-Moon​ died after being transported to a nearby hospital following the suspected drowning.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- A girl who police said possibly drowned in a Colorado Springs hotel pool this weekend was identified on Monday. Police said 9-year-old Yevaeh Patrick-Moon died after being transported to a nearby hospital following the suspected drowning.

Colorado Springs police on Saturday night responded to a report of a possible drowning in the 2800 block of South Circle Drive.

Police said Yevaeh was pulled from the pool by citizens, who attempted to rescue the her. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the incident.
