Here are the top three stories in Colorado Springs today:

  1. The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested a man at a storage unit after receiving calls about a family disturbance. Anthony Lobato was arrested from a storage facility in the 100 block of East Garden of the Gods Road after family members were taken to a local hospital for treatment. It is currently unclear whether or not the family members were related to Lobato. (KRDO)
  2. Colorado Springs residents took to the streets on Saturday to participate in protests focused on gun reform. The protests were organized through the national March for Our Lives organization. Nearly 200 people participated while waving signs and coordinating chants. (KOAA News 5)
  3. Colorado Springs' Peaks to Prairies Rose Show will be from Jun. 18 to Jun. 19. The event will be at 1515 N. Cascade Ave. and hosted by the Pikes Peak Rose Society. Participants will have the opportunity to view at least 1,000 different roses provided by society members. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
