- The victim of the Mallard Meadows Apartments shooting has been identified. The Colorado Springs Police Department reports that Malaya Leary, 18, was discovered by responding officers on May 21. Eric Lockhart, 19, has been arrested in connection with the investigation. (KRDO)
- The Colorado Springs Fire Department has a new wellness therapy dog - Diesel. Their newest team member will help firefighters deal with the job's many stressors while providing comfort. Diesel has been officially sworn in by the City of Colorado Springs. (KRDO)
- The Colorado Springs Police Department is currently accepting applications for volunteers to support staff with its Victim Advocacy Program.
