Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs:

  1. A fast-growing Colorado Springs church has purchased the lower level of the former Macy's store at The Citadel mall. Zeal Church plans to use the space to expand its ministry. The church paid $3.5 million for the 97,000-square-foot space. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
  2. El Paso County has unveiled a new mobile Women, Infants, and Children services program meant to meet residents where they are. The program will provide its 13,000 clients with supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding resources, and healthy eating information. The program will hopefully remove some barriers for families with transportation issues. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
  3. The Colorado Springs Police Department is searching for a suspect that intentionally set a duplex fire on Tuesday night. The fire occurred in the 1600 block of South Wahsatch. The department reports that they know who set the fire but are still attempting to locate the individual. (KKTV)
