81-Year-Old Woman Beaten, Robbed At Denver Bus Stop: Police
Man allegedly assaulted and robbed a woman as she waited at the bus stop, then fled, police said.

DENVER, CO – An 81-year-old woman was beaten and robbed while waiting for a bus in east Denver last month. Police released a sketch of the alleged robber on Friday, along with a call for the public's help. Metro Denver Crime Stoppers offered a $2,000 reward for information.
The image released was that of a white male of Hispanic descent, "approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, medium build and was last seen wearing dark clothing," police said.
Police said on Jan. 14, 2019, between 8 p.m. -8:15 p.m., the man allegedly assaulted the woman as she waited at the bus stop at on South Monaco Parkway at East Dakota Avenue. After the attack, the man reportedly fled northbound towards Alameda Avenue.

Police say the suspect could face charges of robbery and aggravated assault to an at-risk adult.
