Accused Convenience Store Triple-Shooter To Appear In Court
Angel Gallegos, 19, is accused of killing two and wounding one at a Villa Park convenience store. The victims were "mean mugging," he said.

DENVER, CO – A 19-year-old charged with shooting and killing two people and injuring a third at a Villa Park convenience store will appear in Denver District Court on Monday, Nov. 26.
Angel Gallegos is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree assault for the shooting deaths of Rosando Anthony Martinez, 16, and Raymond Flores, 25 and injuring another teen.
Around noon on May 30, Gallegos allegedly shot Martinez, Flores and another teen, age 15, in front of the Kimbo Grocery store in the 600 block of Perry Street, police said.

The wounded 15-year-old told police that he and two friends were driving in a 2002 Ford Explorer when they passed two males near 6th Avenue and Perry Street who "mean mugged" them, according to an arrest affidavit. The witness told police the three were "offended by the look the males gave them and drove around the block to confront them."
A witness who was with Gallegos told police he had gone to the convenience store to buy milk. He said he was challenged by the men in the car and entered the store alone. A clerk later told police the man tried to hold the door closed when the Ford Explorer pulled into the parking lot and the three got out of the car, the affidavit said.

Armed with a can of bear spray, the three in the Explorer allegedly threatened Gallegos, who allegedly shot all three and fled, the affidavit said. Police found the bear spray and the running Ford Explorer with doors open in the parking lot.
The three were taken to Denver Health Medical Center where Flores and Martinez died.
Gallegos was arrested June 1, and has been held in the Denver Jail with a bond of $500,000.
