Alleged Preschool Purse Thief Wanted For Credit Card Theft: Cops
A woman police say has been using stolen credit cards in metro Denver appears to have stolen valuables from cars parked at schools.

DENVER, CO – Denver police are asking for the public's help to identify a woman who allegedly removed valuables from parked cars near schools while parents went inside. Police said the woman then used the cards in metro Denver shops.
Metro Denver Crime Stoppers offered a $2,000 reward and released surveillance photos of the middle-aged white woman with a "very distinctive two-tone hair color" who allegedly used credit cards stolen from vehicles parked at private elementary and preschools in the south Denver area, police said "The thefts occurred in the afternoons when a parent goes inside the school to pick up their child," a press release from Crime Stoppers said.
The woman drove off in a 1997 Tan Honda Accord or a late model maroon Jeep Cherokee after these incidents, police said.

One of the incidents happened near Denver Montessori School near South Holley Street and East Florida Avenue, where valuables were stolen from an unlocked car on Jan. 11, 2019. Other incidents happened on Jan. 14th and 22nd, police said.
