Denver Police Arrest 2 In Baker Botched Robbery, Homicide.

Two men were taken into custody in connection with the October fatal shooting death of Thomas Steen, 25, after a robbery.

DENVER, CO – Denver police arrested two men in connection with an October shooting death of a 25-year-old man in the Baker neighborhood after a street robbery, police announced Wednesday.

Ibrahim Amir Musa, 20, and Husham Al Kinani, 18, are facing first-degree murder and aggravated robbery charges.

Around 9 p.m. on the evening of Oct. 18, Musa and Kinani allegedly robbed three victims as they were walking home in the 100 block of North Bannock Street. Police allege that Kinani shot Thomas Steen, 25, following the robbery. Steen was taken to Denver Health Medical Center, where he died of his injuries on Oct. 20.

According to his obituary, Steen was a native of Pageland, South Carolina, and had moved to Denver to work at Dish Network's corporate office as a data analyst.

No further details on the arrest were immediately available, as the arrest affidavits in this case have been sealed.
