Denver Cop Shot: Female Officer Wounded In Domestic Dispute
An officer and a woman were both injured in a domestic incident in Villa Park early Sunday morning.

DENVER, CO – A female Denver police officer was shot in the leg, and a woman was also injured in a domestic violence call in the Villa Park neighborhood in the early morning in Denver, police said. A man was in custody, police said.
Denver police tweeted around 3:49 a.m. that an officer had been injured in the 4800 block of West 10th Avenue.
Police did not immediately name the man arrested or the officer or female victim.

The case was still under investigation Sunday morning.
