Denver Man IDed in Five Points Fatal Shooting

Deandre Abrams, 32, died after being shot in Five Points. Police still have no suspect information.

DENVER, CO – The name of the man killed in an early-morning shooting in Denver on Jan. 21 was released Wednesday by the Denver Medical Examiner.

Around 2:25 a.m., the Denver police were summoned to the 2300 block of Glenarm Place after reports of a person shot.

Deandre Abrams, 32, was identified as the man who was taken to a hospital and later died. The medical examiner's office confirmed that Abrams died of a gunshot wound.

No arrests have been made in this case, DPD said.

"Lead investigators are still working to develop suspect information," said Doug Schepman of the DPD Media Relations Unit Wednesday. "If anyone has any information about this case, we encourage them to get ahold of investigators."
