Denver Public School District Cancels Classes Thursday
Denver Public Schools called a second snow day for Thursday, citing driving conditions and power outages across the city.

DENVER, CO – Denver Public schools will be closed Thursday, March 14, 2019 in the aftermath of the "bomb cyclone" blizzard that brought blowing snow and 75-mph winds to the Front Range.
The district said "power outages across the city and poor road conditions," were the reason to cancel all classes and after school activities.
The winter storm, dubbed "Ullmer" by storm-naming weather wizards, closed the Denver International Airport and stranded motorists on highways across the state. A Colorado State Trooper was killed when a car slid off I-76 in Weld County.
