Do You Know Him? Denver Seeks ID Of Man Found Dead In 2016
The Office of the Medical Examiner wants to find family members of a man found dead three years ago in Denver.

DENVER, CO – Do you know him? The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner released a forensic sketch of a man found dead in August of 2016, asking for help identifying him.
According to the agency, no friend, next of kin or acquaintances have come forward to identify the man, who was described as "a transient male who frequented the area of Federal Boulevard and Colfax Avenue during the summer of 2016."
The man was described as white, and between 45 and 60 years old, and approximately 5’ 10” tall. According to the agency, the man was found to have "surgical hardware in his jaw and hand that may help identify him." He may also have had a "hunched posture," the agency said.

The man's body was found on Aug. 3, 2016 outside at 1450 Grove St. in Denver, according to the NamUs (National Missing and Unidentified Persons System) site. According to the site, there are 76 people who have been unidentified in Colorado since 1954.
“The team at the Office of the Medical Examiner strives to identify every decedent who comes into our care. We understand and value the need for closure when dealing with losing a family member or friend, and we believe that everyone is connected to someone, somewhere who cares about them,” said Medical Examiner's Office Spokesman Steven Castro in a statement. “It is our sincere hope that the community will look at the sketch and contact us with any information they might have on this individual. We appreciate your help as we work to close this case.”
