Facebook Opens Denver Office On 16th Street Mall

New Denver office space for the social media giant will accommodate 100 employees.

DENVER, CO – Facebook employees posted selfies online of employees enjoying their new digs in Denver.

As first reported by Denver Business Journal, the social media mega-company opened Denver offices at 1900 16th St. on Monday.

The space leased in the building is about 23,600 sq. ft., to support up to 100 workers, DBJ reported. The space includes includes "23 conference rooms, an event space, training room, cafe, library, game room and bike storage," the journal reported.

“Facebook is investing in our infrastructure team and the Denver region offers a unique hub, filled with talented network engineers, network security engineers, and software engineers.,” said Denver manager Steve Politis, in a statement. “As we join the community, we are committed to being a good neighbor and look forward to creating jobs and supporting local businesses, nonprofits, and schools.”
