Fired! Broncos Quarterback Chad Kelly 'Released' After Arrest
Kelly's Monday arrest for first-degree trespassing in Englewood appears to have been a deal-killer for the team.

DENVER, CO – Chad Kelly is Bronco-No-More. Quarterback Kelly was "released" from the team Wednesday morning, the same day he appeared in Arapahoe County court for a first-degree trespassing charge.
“This was a decision that we made as an organization,” General Manager and former quarterback John Elway said. “After reviewing all the information and in talking with Vance (Joseph) and Joe (Ellis), we agreed that releasing Chad was the right thing to do. Even though Chad’s no longer part of our team, we’ve offered to help him however we can and are supportive of him in every possible way.”
Kelly was arrested Monday night after the Broncos's team Halloween party.

According to an arrest affidavit Kelly allegedly barged into a home of an unknown family in Englewood around midnight, then sat on the family couch "mumbling incoherently." The homeowner allegedly chased Kelly out of the house, beating him with a vacuum cleaner attachment, according to an arrest affidavit.
Police responded to a call about "a male standing outside a residence." Police searched the area and found Kelly sitting in a black SUV near the Gothic Theater at 3623 S. Broadway.
