The tour’s lineup consists of Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Mike Campbell and Neil Finn. This marks the first tour with Finn and Campbell. Because of this, on CBS This Morning, Fleetwood Mac issued a statement that indicated their feelings that Fleetwood Mac had been "reborn." In addition, aside from touring, the group has plans to record new music with Finn and Campbell on their future albums.
Originally, the band formed in 1967, in London, and was founded by guitarists Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer along with drummer Mick Fleetwood. Their debut album appeared after the band was joined by bassist John McVie. To date, the band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide. This makes them one of the world’s best-selling bands. 1998 saw select members of the band inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with receiving the Brit Award, which was given for Outstanding Contribution to Music. The band was also declared as MusiCares Person of the Year in 2018.

Back in 1974, the band was joined by Stevie Nicks, which gave them a more pop rock sound and their self-titled album Fleetwood Mac reached number 1 in the U.S. She will also be performing on their current tour. Their fame was further secured with the release of their 1977 album Rumours, which produced four Top 10 singles in the U.S. and remained at number one on the American albums chart for 31 weeks. It also reached top spots in various other countries throughout the world. In 1978, it had the distinction of winning Album of the Year at the Grammys.
On Jan. 11, 2014, Mick Fleetwood had announced that Christine McVie would be rejoining Fleetwood Mac. This was confirmed on Jan. 13 and she will be performing with the band during their current tour, as well. In October 2014 Stevie Nicks appeared in American Horror Story: Coven with Fleetwood Mac's song "Seven Wonders" playing in the background.
Recently, in April of 2018, their hugely popular song Dreams re-entered the Hot Rock Songs chart at No. 16 after a viral meme had featured the song. Amazingly, this chart re-entry came 40 years after the song had topped the Hot 100. The song's current streaming totals also translated into 7,000 "equivalent album units", a jump of 12 percent, which helped "Rumours" to go from No. 21 to No. 13 on the Top Rock Albums chart.
