High Winds Warning For Denver, Foothills
Winds in the foothills may blow between 60-80 mph, settling down to 40 mph during the day Wednesday. Metro Denver will be calmer.

DENVER, CO – High winds reading into the 60-80 mph range will blow through the foothills early Wednesday morning and through the day, the National Weather Service said. Denver and the Front Range will also experience periods of winds gusting to 40 mph near the foothills early Wednesday morning.
During the day Wednesday, Denver can expect partly sunny skies, with a high near 59. West winds will average 9 to 11 mph, during the day with gusts as high as 17 mph, the National Weather service said.
