It's Over: Amazon HQ2 Will Split Between NYC And Northern VA
Denver is out of the running for the official second headquarters of Amazon.

DENVER, CO – Amazon isn't moving its HQ2 headquarters to Denver. According to people familiar with the decision, the company will split its operations between Crystal City, near Arlington, Virginia and the Long Island City neighborhood of New York City, both the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post reported Monday night.
Both areas were chosen for "highly educated workforces and deep talent pools," the Washington Post reported.
Rumors flew last week that Crystal City was in the running after commercial real estate maneuverings indicated something big was going on.

But other sources predicted that 50,000 new high end residents would swamp the Arlington area, and that two smaller headquarters would be a better decision.
