Train Crashes Into SUV In South-Central Denver
Driver survives with minor injuries after a train struck an SUV at South Santa Fe Drive and West Bayaud Avenue.

DENVER, CO – A train crashed into an SUV on the light rail line at South Santa Fe Drive and West Bayaud Avenue Denver police tweeted around 11:05 p.m Thursday. The driver's injuries "did not appear to be serious," police said later.
Police re-opened traffic at the intersection around midnight as they continued to investigate the crash.
The incident happened at the same intersection where two pedestrians have been killed since August. On Oct. 4, a man was killed in the morning. Police later said he intentionally walked in front of the train. Another person was killed at the same intersection the night of Aug. 30. That incident was also thought to have been intentional.
