Teen Dies In Shooting, Man And Child Expected To Survive: Police
Denver police are investigating a domestic violence-related shooting.

DENVER, CO — A teenager died and two others — a man and a child — were injured in a shooting Monday in Denver, police said.
The man and the child are expected to survive, according to the Denver Police Department, which released an update Thursday afternoon.
The shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. Monday in the 10000 block of East Girard Avenue in southeast Denver, police said.

Witnesses said they heard gunshots and someone yelling for help, then saw a person lying in the street.
The suspect in the shooting, another adult male, was found dead at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

The child who was injured was in critical condition, but is expected to survive, police said. The man is in stable condition.
“The Denver Police Department passes our condolences to all parties involved and pleads that anyone who is experiencing intimate partner violence or may be a perpetrator to reach out for help,” the department said in a statement.
