Denver Hit-And-Run: Man In Wheelchair Killed Monday Morning
A driver crashed into the man while he was stopped in the street in his wheelchair, police said. The crash is under investigation.
DENVER, CO — A man in a wheelchair was killed in a hit-and-run overnight Monday, the Denver Police Department said.
The crash happened at around 2:35 a.m. Monday in the southbound land of North Broadway, police said. Officials do not yet know the age of the man who was hit, though police said he was an adult.

Preliminary information indicates that the man, in his wheelchair, was stationary in the road when he was struck by a vehicle, possibly a Dodge or a Ram, police said.

Police believe the vehicle sustained damage to its drivers' side headlight.
