Here are the top stories in Denver today:

  1. Denver police are searching for suspects after a ride-share driver was stabbed in the city's Rosedale neighborhood. The driver told a group of teens that he couldn't fit them all in his vehicle, and a fight broke out, police said. The driver is expected to survive, according to the Denver Police Department. (Denver Patch)
  2. City crews have found rodents, needles and other public health concerns as the cleanup of Denver's Civic Center Park continues. More than a dozen new trees have been planted in the park, and workers and rangers are being hired to keep the park safe. The goal is to have the park ready for the Denver Christkindl Market, but if not, the market will be held in Skyline Park instead. (CBS Denver)
  3. The Denver Art Museum is set to return four artifacts to Cambodia after an investigation revealed they came to the museum through a man who was indicted for trafficking looted antiquities. The Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts said the artifacts are of "extraordinary cultural significance."(Denver Patch)
  4. The CDC issued updated guidance Friday on how Americans can stay safe during the holidays. Colorado last week reached the highest number of COVID-19 hospitalizations so far in 2021, state public health officials said.   5. Denver's largest high-rise for-rent apartment community has broken ground near Sloan's Lake. The property, in the city's Jefferson Park neighborhood, is set to include 626 units: 533 apartments and 93 hotel units. (Mile High CRE)
