DENVER, CO — Denver police are asking for the public's help with solving a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian dead.

A vehicle struck the pedestrian around 1 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 70 near Pecos Street, police said.

The driver then took off, and the pedestrian died, the Denver Police Department said.
