Police Nab Washington Park Armed Robbery, Carjacking Suspect
Marcus Dechee faces charges of robbing a Washington Park home and then carjacking a vehicle Tuesday morning.

DENVER, CO – Denver police said they arrested a man in connection with an armed residential robbery in Washington Park and a car-jacking incident that both allegedly occurred Tuesday.
Marcus Allen Dechee, 32, was taken into custody yesterday. Police said in a press release that early Tuesday morning, Dechee entered an unlocked home in the 1000 block of South Gilpen Street near Washington Park. Dechee allegedly held two residents hostage and robbed the home, police said.
Later in the afternoon, police arrested Dechee in connection with a separately reported carjacking in the 1000 block of South Federal Boulevard.

Police allege Dechee was the suspect in both crimes.
Dechee is currently being held in Denver County jail on no bond, facing charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated motor vehicle theft and vehicular eluding, the Denver Jail inmate roster said Wednesday.
