Snowfall Totals For Metro Denver: National Weather Service

Here's a look at snowfall totals so far in Metro Denver, Thornton, Colorado Springs and surrounding areas.

DENVER, CO — The National Weather Service initiated a winter weather warning Tuesday evening for most of the state that remains in effect until midnight Wednesday. Heavy snow is still falling in some areas, and roads are slick and hazardous.

Parts of the state are thus far reporting upward of 20 inches of snowfall, according to the National Weather Service, with parts of Denver and Aurora reporting more than 10 inches and Boulder reporting more than 8.

Here's a breakdown of snowfall totals in other areas so far:

  • Colorado Springs: Between 14 and 22 inches
  • Fort Collins: Between 5.5 and 9 inches
  • Arvada: Between 8 and 9.2 Inches
  • Aurora: 10.5 inches
  • Thornton: 11 inches
  • Denver: 11 inches
  • Littleton: 7.5 inches
  • Broomfield: Between 8.4 and 10 inches
