Teen Killed In Five Points Shooting Identified

A 19-year-old died Monday after being shot near East 26th Avenue and North Washington Street.

DENVER, CO – The man killed in Monday's shooting in Denver's Five Points neighborhood was identified by the Office of the Medical Examiner on Wednesday.

Octavius Brown, 19, died of his injuries after being shot near East 26th Avenue and North Washington Street, the medical examiner said. Police tweeted news of the shooting around 10 p.m. The medical examiner declared Brown's death a homicide.
