Here's a list of upcoming summer concerts, fairs and events.

DENVER, CO — As Colorado's COVID-19 vaccination rates rise, more and more events are being announced in Denver's metro area, Boulder and other Colorado cities.

Some events require tickets or registration, but others simply require a picnic blanket, some snacks and a love of live music.

Better yet, many events give Coloradans the opportunity to support local musicians, chefs, artists and entertainers.

Boulder Creek Festival 2021

A decades-old Boulder tradition is back in 2021 with several dozen performances, food, shopping and entertainment for people of all ages. The Boulder Creek Festival will be held Friday through Sunday in the Boulder Civic Area. The event will feature free concerts, dance performances, children's activities and a marketplace. There are no ticket fees, but online registration is encouraged.

Arapahoe County Fair 2021

Those who miss a good old-fashioned county fair — complete with carnival rides, 4-H exhibits and rodeos — won't want to miss the Arapahoe County Fair 2021. The event is scheduled to run from July 22 to July 25 at the fairgrounds, 25690 E Quincy Ave. The fair will feature a craft brew festival, a dog show, live music, fireworks and plenty of kids activities.

Taste Of Arvada 2021

The popular culinary event returns with more than 70 vendors. The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 22 at the Apex Center, 13150 72nd Avenue.

Littleton Museum Concert Series

The free concert series is held every Wednesday, with first-come, first-served open seating. People of all ages are invited to pack picnic blankets and lawn chairs and head out to concerts this summer outside the Littleton Museum, at 6028 S Gallup St.

Taste Of The West In Lakewood

The event will feature local restaurants, breweries, wineries and distilleries. Taste of the West is set to run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 5 on the Colorado Mills' parking deck, 14500 West Colfax Ave.

Lakewood Theater, Orchestra Returns: 2021-2022 Season Announced

The Lakewood Cultural Center announced a season filled with live performances. 'Create-your own' packages of three or more performances are now available for purchase. Tickets for individual performances are set to go on sale Aug. 3.
