Truck Smashes Into Building In Platte Park
Traffic on Broadway and Jewell was diverted during the morning rush hour as emergency teams worked to shore up a corner building.
DENVER, CO – Denver firefighters were at the scene of a crash in Denver's Platte Park neighborhood after a UHaul truck smashed into a corner building at South Broadway and West Jewell Avenue. The driver and passenger received minor injuries.
Traffic on Jewell and South Broadway was snarled and diverted during the morning rush hour.
Engineers were attempting to "stabilize the structure," Denver Fire tweeted.
