Woman Stabs 6 Outside Colfax Avenue Bar: Police

Police are searching for a woman they say attacked patrons of the Viking bar with a knife around 2 a.m. A $2,000 reward is offered.

DENVER, CO – Denver police are asking for the public's help after a knife attack outside a Denver bar left "at least six people" with serious injuries. Police and Metro Crime Stoppers are offering $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of a woman whose image was captured on video.

Although police did not make any public statement at the time, a press release said the incident happened in the early morning hours of Feb. 3, 2019. Police were called to a fight at the Viking Bar located at 4888 W. Colfax Ave.

A woman, wearing a winter coat, a pom-pom hat and described as "white or Hispanic" allegedly attacked a group of people who had just exited the bar with a knife. She then fled in a "blue four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry," a police press release said.

A witness told police the car had a broken rear windshield and "damage to the driver side front door."

The woman is sought for aggravated assault, police said. Police did not specify the condition of the stabbing victims.
