Federal Gov. Employees: Free Admission Railroad Museum And Others
Through the month of January, federal government workers will receive free admission to Golden's Colorado Railroad Museum and others.

GOLDEN, CO – Golden's Colorado Railroad Museum is joining other cultural institutions in metro Denver and across the state to offer free admission to workers affected by the federal government shutdown.
All federal employees and their families are invited to visit the railroad museum for free through the month of January. A valid government issued identification must be presented to the museum admission desk, but no proof that the employee is on furlough is required.
There are around 53,000 non-military federal employees in the state of Colorado, although only a portion work in the nine agencies affected by the shutdown. However, local food banks and social service agencies are offering help for federal employees who will not receive a paycheck.
