Job Fair Monday: JeffCo Schools Seek Support Services Employees

The Jefferson County School Distirct will host a job fair Monday, Nov. 5 at the district's administrative offices in Golden to fill non-certified staff positions.

Representatives from the following departments will be available to conduct on-the-spot interviews and answer questions about careers with Jeffco:

• Food and Nutrition Services
• Transportation
• Custodial
• Security
• Preschool
• School Age Enrichment
• Para Pros/Para Educators

JeffCo school district has more than 170 job openings for hourly workers posted on the district's website. The district has produced recruiting videos here and here.

Hourly pay scales for custodians start at $13.64. Substitute bus drivers are paid $16.21 hourly. Paraprofessionals earn $11.87 - $12.18 per hour. Armed security officers are paid $19.38 per hour. Food service and nutrition employees are paid starting at $11.41 per hour.

The district has 155 schools serving more than 86,000 students.

The job fair will take place Monday between 2-6 p.m.
