Man Charged In Fatal Morrison Shooting Of Woman

Jerald Arthur Cross,​ 64, is accused of killing 61-year-old Julene Isaacson at her home.

GOLDEN, CO – A man was charged Tuesday with fatally shooting a woman in Morrison, the First Judicial District Attorney's office said.

Jerald Arthur Cross, 64, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of 61-year-old Julene Isaacson at her home.

On Oct. 7, 2018 the Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to 5288 Pintail Court in Morrison where they found that Isaacson had suffered a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Cross, who also lived at the house, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies and taken to the Jefferson County jail.

Police did not specify the relationship between the victim and Cross.

Cross is being held without bail. He is scheduled to appear in Jefferson County District court on Oct. 25, the DA's office said.
