• Driver arrested road-rage shooting to enter plea Jan. 5 (clearcreekcourant.com) — A driver accused in an August road-rage shooting and chase through southwestern Golden is set to enter a plea Jan. 5 at the Jefferson County Courthouse. Investigators say the suspects were caught near Golden Ridge Condominiums with multiple firearms, and one codefendant has already pleaded guilty to evidence tampering.
   

• In leaving CEO post, Curtis Martin says he'll remain on board, ‘stay on mission' with FOCUS (osvnews.com) — FOCUS, the national Catholic campus ministry headquartered in Golden, is undergoing a leadership change as founder Curtis Martin steps down as CEO but remains on the board. Denver Archbishop Samuel Aquila, whose archdiocese includes Golden, praised the group’s growth while interim CEO Tim Thoman pledged continuity as FOCUS prepares for its next stage of expansion.
