Lakewood Resident To Compete On Wheel Of Fortune
Coloradan Gabe Cox grew up watching the decades-old game show, and now she's been chosen as a contestant.

LAKEWOOD, CO — A Lakewood resident is set to compete on "Wheel of Fortune" Nov. 16, the show announced.
Coloradan Gabe Cox, an author, podcaster and mother of three, said she grew up watching the ever-popular game show after her dad introduced it to her.
"This experience means I get to cherish a wonderful memory with my dad that will last forever," Cox said.

"I know being a part of Wheel of Fortune was a dream for him, and I'm thankful that I could bring a piece of that to life!"
When Cox became a mom, she introduced the show to her sons, who wanted to take things one step further — they encouraged her to apply to become a contestant and send in a video submission, so she did just that.

And Cox was chosen.
Cox said she and her family moved from Minnesota to Colorado to enjoy our beautiful mountains. She loves to hike, run and visit national parks.
Cox said she hopes to make her dad and sons proud and bring home cash and prizes to share.
"Wheel of Fortune" made its debut in 1975, and has been a staple in millions of households since then.
