Neighbor Saves Veteran From Burning Home In Lakewood
A fire that consumed a home in the 1300 block South Depew was possibly caused by a wood stove, West Metro Fire investigators said.

LAKEWOOD, CO – A man was taken to a hospital and a dog was saved Nov. 11 after a fire burned a house in the 1300 block South Depew that firefighters said was "most likely a total loss."
A neighbor rescued the homeowner, a Vietnam vet, Fox31 reported. the man's dog "walked out on its own," West Metro Fire Rescue tweeted Sunday.
Investigators said the fire was possibly caused by a wood stove.
